I. Position Description
The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance on plant equipment including mixers, pumps, screw conveyors, motors, bearings, and pulleys.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear; and work at heights. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to extreme heat. The employee occasionally works in highly precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Employee must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Looking for an applicant who can work the Graveyard Shift which is from 11pm to 7:30am. Will pay an addition $1.50 per hour for working night shift.

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment.
- Records work performed and keep supervisor notified of job status.
- Complies with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
- Actively support and participate in plant BBS program
- Other duties as assigned.
- Use mobile equipment as necessary (forklift, man-lift, electric cart).
- High school diploma or GED diploma
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 5 years experience in industrial maintenance
- Able to use tools and measuring equipment
- Must be able to communicate clearly in spoken and written word in English
- Environmental training applicable to the job
- Safety training for applicable equipment
- Job instructional training
- Quality system familiarization
- EMS ISO 14001, 9001, and 45001 awareness. Plant EMS objectives and targets
- Significant environmental air aspects and impacts
- Active participation and support of plant JTE initiative and activities.
