What You’ll Do
- Lead and inspire the QA team to deliver exceptional product and process quality through testing, auditing, and continuous improvement.
- Design, refine, and implement production and repair processes that increase efficiency and consistency across our operations.
- Maintain compliance with R2, ISO, and other global quality and environmental standards.
- Use data analytics, process metrics and ad hoc reports to spot trends, identify root causes, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Champion lean manufacturing and Six Sigma best practices that improve workflow and eliminate waste.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support new business models, process innovations, and vendor collaborations.
- Develop clear SOPs, training, and documentation to sustain quality and operational excellence.
- Share insights and updates with leadership to inform continuous improvement strategies.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or logistics; direct QA leadership preferred.
- Experience driving process improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, standards, and certifications (R2, ISO, etc.).
- Experience implementing automation solutions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- A proactive, collaborative attitude and passion for sustainability and innovation.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent visual inspection of products and use of computers and testing equipment.
- Ability to move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
- Regular movement, including standing, bending, and handling materials as needed.
