Residential Cleaning Professional / Housekeeper — 1099 Independent Contractor
ECOAR Care – Natural Home Services is looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced cleaning professionals to work with us as 1099 Independent Contractors.
We provide premium residential cleaning and housekeeping services in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas. We are looking for professionals who take pride in their work, are dependable, respectful inside clients’ homes, and committed to providing high-quality service.
About ECOAR Care
We believe a clean home should also be a healthier home. Our cleaning approach prioritizes natural and eco-friendly products, avoiding harsh chemicals whenever possible while maintaining professional cleaning standards.
Our team communicates in English, Spanish, and Portuguese — speakers of any of these three languages are welcome to apply.
Position
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Residential Cleaning / Housekeeping
- Monday through Friday
- Weekly pay
- Work volume may vary based on bookings
- Typically 2–4 homes per day when scheduled
- Locations may vary throughout Virginia Beach and surrounding areas
- Weekend jobs may occasionally be available but are optional
- Weekend jobs are paid at a higher rate
Responsibilities
Services may include:
- Residential house cleaning
- Regular and deep cleaning
- Move-in / move-out cleaning
- Housekeeping services
- Laundry and linen care
- Home organization
- Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Dusting and surface cleaning
- Following client-specific service instructions and ECOAR Care quality standards
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have reliable transportation and their own vehicle
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be able to travel between client locations
- Have residential cleaning or housekeeping experience
- Be reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
- Be comfortable working independently
- Be physically able to perform residential cleaning duties
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Respect clients’ homes, privacy, belongings, children, and pets
- Be willing to provide professional references
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Be willing to complete a background check if required
Independent Contractor Status
This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity and not a W-2 employee position.
Independent contractors are responsible for their own applicable taxes and other obligations associated with independent contractor status.
