What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Eco Waste Solutions?
Are you an engineer who’s tired of the corporate grind?
Do you want your work to actually mean something for the planet?
Are you naturally curious—someone who enjoys understanding how things work and finding ways to improve them??
At Eco Waste Solutions, we don't just "do projects"—we build innovative clean technology that helps protect some of the most beautiful places on Earth and its people.
Eco Waste Solutions is an award-winning clean-tech manufacturing company delivering innovative, high-quality, and environmentally conscious thermal waste conversion technology to governments, communities, and organizations around the world. We’re growing and looking for smart, detail-oriented, enthusiastic people who want to make a real difference in the world. Our work culture is flexible, supportive, and growth oriented.
As a Project Coordinator, you will coordinate multiple engineering and manufacturing projects across engineering, procurement, and production, helping ensure they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. No two projects are the same, so you’ll need to balance competing priorities, anticipate and resolve challenges, and adapt quickly as projects evolve. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, you will help transform innovative designs into fully operational systems deployed in some of the world’s most demanding environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, thrives on solving problems, and combines strong organizational and technical skills, with sound judgment and attention to detail.
Does this sound good to you?
- A Real Work-Family: We’re small, supportive team that values collaboration, clear communication, and practical processes. Here, you are not just another employee; you are a vital member of a dedicated team that has your back.
- Beyond the Desk: You’ll have the unique opportunity to travel to remote sites, including Alaska and Canada, to see our thermal waste technology in action!
- Make a Tangible Difference: We are cleaning up the world. Every project you coordinate helps a remote community or a government protect their environment. You’ll go home knowing you have done something that matters.
- Flexibility & Growth: Based in Batavia, NY, we offer a hybrid mix of in-office and remote work. We trust you to get the job done and empower you to grow technically and professionally.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the heartbeat of our projects, ensuring everything from engineering to production stays on track.
- Drive Project Success: Coordinate schedules and budgets for complex clean-tech builds.
- See it Built: Perform quality inspections at vendor locations and work sites.
- Collaborate: Work closely with our internal team and global partners to solve problems before they start.
