Certified Irrigation Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water efficiency and healthy landscapes. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary.
• Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions, ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to provide proper coverage tailored to landscape needs.
• Use mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues with irrigation and related landscape systems, implementing effective solutions promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of system repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for client files and company documentation.
• Collaborate with landscaping teams on construction projects involving improvements, or new installations requiring irrigation integration.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License
• Valid Certification as an Irrigation Technician or equivalent credential demonstrating expertise in irrigation systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working with lawn care equipment, hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators.
• Knowledge of landscaping principles and general landscape maintenance techniques.
• Experience in irrigation installation, troubleshooting, and repair is essential.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints related to irrigation layouts and landscape design plans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system diagnostics and repairs.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy equipment.
