Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CDL A Truck Driver, based in Chattanooga, TN. Responsibilities include transporting materials using company vehicles, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate transport logs. The driver will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure materials safely, and assist with vacuum truck or tanker operations when necessary. The role may also involve collaborating with other team members on emergency response or scheduled maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
- Experience in operating vacuum trucks, tankers, or similar equipment preferred
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and commitment to safety practices
- Ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate transport and maintenance logs
- Capability to perform tasks related to spill containment, load securement, and waste disposal
- Physical ability to handle labor-intensive tasks, such as material handling and equipment operation, in various weather conditions
- Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and emergency callouts
- Experience in industrial services, environmental services, or similar fields is a significant advantage
