Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in alarm systems, low voltage wiring, and electrical experience. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of various alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. The Alarm Technician will work closely with clients to design and implement customized security solutions.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems including fire alarms and security sensors.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand system designs and layouts.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Utilize CAD software for system design and layout planning.
- Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.
- Work with hand tools and power tools to complete installations efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients on alarm system sales, providing expert recommendations based on their needs.
- Ensure all work adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in alarm system installation or service technician roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and CAD designs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.

Pay: $25.33 - $30.50 per hour
