What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Eco solution distributing?
DESCRIPTION:
Monitor application of liquid freeze treatment products onto trains being loaded at coal mines to ensure correct amounts are properly applied. Light mechanical work to confirm tanks and pump systems are working correctly. Accurate reporting of application amounts and any problems with the system. Receive inbound trucks of material and document unloading.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel from your house to coal mines to monitor application of freeze treatment products. No need to come to an office every day.
- Coordinate activities with coal mine personnel while on-site.
- Fill out train reports and properly submit via e-mail.
- Receive and document unloading of inbound trucks.
- Maintain tanks and spray systems to ensure they are working correctly.
- Training for all of the above will be completed by an Eco Solution supervisor.
- Complete required Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) training.
- Acquire and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Light mechanical experience.
- Exhibits initiative and the ability to follow through to completion projects assigned.
- Be able to fill out and submit reports on a timely manner. May involve hand-written or computer based reports.
- Have reliable transportation. Bring your own basic hand tools to each job site (pen, enclosed clip board, tape measure, flashlight, screwdriver, pliers, hammer).
- Must pass a drug test.
COMPENSATION:
- Competitive hourly rate offered
Hours: On-call on a 24/7 basis. Weekends and Holidays required.
Locations: Will consider individuals who live in Terre Haute, IN down to Princeton, IN and cities in-between including Carlisle, Oaktown, Vincennes, etc.
