Job Description
We are currently seeking reliable and dedicated DOT drivers for daily appliance pickups, who are also willing to assist with general warehouse duties. This is a physical job that requires removing refrigerators and freezers from inside and outside, residential homes and businesses and transporting them back to our warehouse. The role also includes warehouse work to support our recycling programs. Must pass background check and drug screen.
Driving Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles to pick up and transport refrigerators and freezers from residential and business locations.
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately.
Warehouse Duties:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of appliances.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including organizing and maintaining the workspace.
- Assist with the preparation of items for recycling or disposal.
Requirements:
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check, including a clean driving record, criminal background check, and a 5-panel drug screen.
- DOT Certification: Required for all applicants upon hiring.
- Physical Requirements: Must be capable of safely lifting and maneuvering large appliances, including refrigerators and freezers.
- Shift Availability: Day shift required, with an 8-hour shift schedule. Saturday shifts available.
