Role Description The Regional Sales Executive is a full-time, remote role based in the Southeast (ideally Florida but we're openminded). This position is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with brands and distributors, managing existing accounts, and driving regional revenue growth in alignment with Eco Maven’s sustainability-focused mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and negotiating contracts that reflect smart material choices and long-term partnerships. The Regional Sales Executive will collaborate closely with internal teams to align client needs with sustainable solutions, track sales performance, and provide accurate forecasts. This role also involves regular in-person meetings, participation in industry events, and ongoing education on sustainable materials and supply chain practices to effectively represent Eco Maven’s value proposition.


Qualifications

• Strong sales and account management skills, including prospecting, relationship building, negotiation and closing deals. You know how to turn a cold introduction into a trusted relationship—and eventually into a purchase order.

• Experience managing a region or territory, including sales planning, pipeline development and revenue forecasting. You have a plan, understand your numbers and do not consider “hoping for the best” a forecasting strategy.

• Knowledge of—or genuine curiosity about—sustainability, materials, packaging and supply-chain practices. You do not need to know everything on day one, but terms like PHA, PCR, compostable and recyclable should interest you rather than send you running.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex products and sustainability concepts clearly. You can educate customers without putting the room to sleep or making everyone feel like they need a chemistry degree.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, including experience tracking performance, managing a CRM and prioritizing opportunities. You enter your notes, follow up when promised and generally know where your deals are hiding.

• Ability to work on-site in Santa Ana, California, travel throughout the region and participate in customer meetings, distributor ride-alongs, trade shows and industry events. You are equally comfortable in the office, on the road, in a warehouse or eating lunch out of a compostable sample container.

• Previous experience in B2B sales, brokerage, foodservice distribution or related industries. Experience with sustainable products or packaging is a major plus, especially if distributors and manufacturers already answer when you call.

• A self-starter with energy, personality, curiosity and a strong sense of accountability. We are not looking to babysit, micromanage or wait for leads to fall from the sky.

• An existing network or book of business is highly valued, along with the ambition to build something bigger. You have already created momentum in your career and are ready to take it to another level.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sustainability or a related field—or equivalent real-world experience. A degree is great, but strong relationships, good judgment and the ability to get things done count for a whole lot around here.
