We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Janitorial Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Conduct specialized cleaning procedures for industrial or commercial spaces as needed
- Assist with custodial maintenance tasks including minor repairs and facility upkeep
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations
- Ensure all assigned areas are kept clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services preferred
- Experience with commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is advantageous
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior porter or maintenance experience is a plus
