As Eco Chic continues to scale its operations and strengthen internal infrastructure, we are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support talent acquisition, HR systems excellence, and employee experience across our multi-location retail organization.
Position Overview
The Senior HR Generalist serves as a key partner in building and maintaining a strong, compliant, and people-focused organization. This role leads full-cycle recruiting efforts, owns HRIS administration (Paycom), and supports employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance across Arizona and California operations.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring strong recruiting capability, systems discipline, and the ability to partner effectively with store and corporate leadership.
This is a Full-Time position. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Leadership
- Lead full-cycle recruiting across store and corporate roles.
- Partner with store leadership to forecast hiring needs and support workforce planning.
- Build proactive talent pipelines for high-volume retail positions.
- Ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality hiring practices.
- Improve time-to-fill and early-stage retention outcomes.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a positive and structured new hire experience.
HRIS & Systems Excellence (Paycom)
- Serve as primary administrator of Paycom.
- Maintain accurate employee records and system workflows.
- Manage onboarding, status changes, and data integrity within HRIS.
- Generate HR reporting and workforce analytics to support leadership decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and process consistency.
Employee Experience & Compliance
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and HR-related matters.
- Conduct initial intake for employee relations issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Support consistent policy application and documentation practices.
- Maintain compliance with Arizona and California employment regulations.
- Handle leave administration, FMLA and ADA.
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain organized HR documentation and processes.
- Support performance management and talent development initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Store Operations, Finance, and Leadership to ensure alignment.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, responsiveness, and service levels.
Team Structure & Reporting
- Reports to: Director of Human Resources
- Works in close partnership with Store Managers and Corporate Leadership
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Operations and Finance

Serve as a steward of the Eco Chic culture, ensuring HR practices reflect our commitment to community, elevated employee experience, and operational excellence.

Compensation
Eco Chic Consignments offers competitive compensation aligned with experience and market benchmarks.
Salary Range: $72,000 – $85,000 annually
Final compensation will be determined based on experience, demonstrated recruiting capability, HRIS proficiency, and multi-state compliance knowledge.

- 5 years of progressive HR experience
- Strong full-cycle recruiting experience in retail or multi-location environments
- Hands-on experience with Paycom preferred
- Experience administering employee benefits
- Working knowledge of multi-state employment law (AZ and CA preferred)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
