Position Summary:
Elite Clinical Network is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Rater, a licensed mental health professional responsible for conducting structured clinical interviews and standardized assessments for participants and their caregivers/informants involved in trials targeting cognitive and behavioral disorders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in psychometric evaluations, clinical diagnostics, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). This role is critical in evaluating trial eligibility and monitoring therapeutic outcomes. Ratings will be routinely reviewed and validated by sponsoring pharmaceutical partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive, psychiatric, and diagnostic assessments with research participants and caregivers.
- Administer structured and semi-structured rating instruments per study protocol (e.g., ADAS-Cog, CDR, MMSE, C-SSRS, etc.).
- Ensure strict adherence to clinical trial protocols, GCP standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of source data.
- Assess participant safety and escalate clinical concerns when necessary.
- Participate in required rater trainings and obtain sponsor-specific certifications.
- Respond promptly to sponsor and internal feedback on assessment quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Masters Degree, PhD, PsyD, MD, or equivalent in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work, or a related mental health discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience conducting clinical or research-based assessments using psychometric tools.
- Familiarity with clinical trial processes and GCP standards.
- Rater Qualification Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
