What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soldering / Assembly position at ECM?
Elite Custom Metals is a small, tight-knit manufacturer specializing in high-quality sheet metal products. We take pride in our craftsmanship, but we also keep things friendly — good banter and good music.
We’re looking for a hands-on team member to join our production crew. The main focus of this role is soldering galvanized steel seams and using a powered folder. Over time, you’ll also get the chance to take on more complex fabrication and assembly projects as your skills develop.
What You’ll Do:
- Solder seams and joints for waterproof sheet-metal parts
- Assist in general production and assembly work
- Learn and grow into more intricate fabrication tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with soldering or sheet metal work is great — but not required
- Willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and a solid work ethic
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a small, fun crew
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience and performance)
