GENERAL FOREMAN - ELECTRICAL/I&C
SUMMARY:
Seeking Electrical/I&C General Foreman to provide Open Shop craft oversight of contract Electric Shop activities at a commercial operating nuclear power plant. Requires previous Foreman/General Foreman experience directing craft activities in areas of electrical / I&C, etc., in a nuclear environment.
DUTIES:
Demonstrated experience in directing skilled and semi-skilled tradesman as required by job assignment. Must be able work from schematics, drawings, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications. Must have experience with the running and bending of conduit. Knowledgeable of all OSHA safety standards. In addition, must possess experience and ability to deal with customer's management personnel, taking directions and guidance from them and reporting results.
Supervises Foremen, craft and labor for successful completion of a project. Ensures safe and quality work practices and adherence to plant and Day & Zimmermann policies / procedures. Assists with the planning and scheduling of the project and forecasting of labor and materials.
Initiates correction actions and disciplines for violation of site procedures. Ensures work package constructability, material and manpower allocations. Supports safety, Housekeeping and Schedule Compliance. Coordinates / facilitates shift turnover, pre-job briefings and post-job critiques. Resolves field problems and develop work around plans.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum of eight years of experience in Electrical/I&C Craft.
Minimum of two years of experience at the Foreman level required, and some previous General Foreman experience desired.
Will need to successfully complete all training, drug/alcohol, and psychological / background screening elements required to obtain and maintain unescorted access at an operating commercial nuclear power plant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
In compliance with this State's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $87,000 - $144,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and other contract factors.
