Floor Supervisor

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Floor Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience at our immersive entertainment venue. This role is responsible for supervising staff on the floor, maintaining operational standards, and creating a positive, engaging environment for both guests and team members. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting, can solve problems quickly, and keeps the team focused on delivering outstanding service.

Job Summary:

As a Floor Supervisor, you will lead a team of 20 VR guides. Under the guidance of the Assistant Manager, your role is to ensure a smooth and exceptional guest experience, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service. Success in this role is measured by daily profitability, visitor reviews, the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with situational flexibility, leadership, and an owner's mindset.

Responsibilities:

Team Creation and Management:

• Maintain the highest standard of service and user experience.
• Participate in recruiting and training a team that is passionate and customer focused.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and performance.
• Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork.
• Assist the ASM during team meetings to communicate goals, share updates, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Act as a Manager On-Duty by overseeing and coordinating Front of the House staff.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.

Operational Excellence:

• Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, and guest experience.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with tech team to promptly address any technical issues.
• Perform opening/closing duties of the venue.
• Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned with a hands-on attitude.

Guest Experience:

• Continuously evaluate and enhance the customer journey to create an exceptional experience.
• Ensure efficient and friendly customer service at all touch points, from check-in to departure.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and propose necessary changes.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of service industry experience required in a visitor attraction, theme park, museum, hotel, or fast-paced retail environment.
• A self-motivated, strong leader with a proven record of accomplishment of supervising operational teams.
• A passion for providing excellent guest experiences is critical.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multitask as necessary.
• Extensive knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word); familiarity with ticketing systems and POS (Point of Sale) highly preferred.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on VR and customer service.
• Must be flexible and able to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
