Job Description:
- Responsible for leading and working with team members including assigning work, training, and reviewing quality of work
- Monitoring employee attendance and productivity, and taking steps to improve performance where necessary
- Ensure all employees are utilizing all safety precautions and maintaining safe work environment
- Communicating concerns, updates, and completion timelines (with site management and customer)
Pay Range: $23.50 - $23.50 per hour
Pay Scale: Not applicable
Shift: Monday to Sunday 11:00 PM - Finish
Equipment Experience: Forklift (stand-up and sit-down) and EPJ
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- 6 months or more of Warehouse/Distribution team lead experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Products required (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Understanding of and experience working with Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience with basic data entry / time and attendance tracking
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
- Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs.
- Forklift, electric pallet jack, or other warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred
- Meet/lead/inspire fast-paced productivity goals and standards
- Excellent customer service required
- Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
- Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
- Standing 8 to 10 hours per day
- Effective communication skills
- Safety shoes are required
- Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Other duties as assigned
