Now Hiring: Machine Operator
The Machine Operator operates and monitors packaging machines to ensure products are packaged accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include feeding product, loading supplies, inspecting containers, and operating controls to clean, label, glue, sew, or staple containers. The role requires adherence to all HACCP, Food Safety, and PPE policies, as well as the ability to operate multiple types of packaging machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine.
-Inspects filled container to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
-Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, and unloads packaged product.
-Replenishes packaging supplies as needed.
-Mounts supplies on spindles or places supplies in hopper or other feeding devices.
-Positions and holds container in machine and depresses pedal, presses button, or moves lever to clean, glue, label, sew, or staple container.
-Has the ability to operator at least 2 machines. (Hayssen, Packline, AVM, Action Pac, Foremost, Yamato, Ishda, Viking, Haug)
-Must adhere to all HACCP and Food Safety policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
-Must comply with all policies regarding Employee Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
-Any additional tasks assigned.
Job Requirements:
-Ability to operate at least two types of packaging machines (e.g., Hayssen, Packline, AVM, Action Pac, Foremost, Yamato, Ishida, Viking, Haug)
-Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
-Ability to follow all Employee Safety and PPE policies
-Strong attention to detail and quality control
-Ability to lift and handle packaging materials as needed
-Reliable, punctual, and able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently

Pay Range: $20.86 - $20.86 per hour
Shift:
Second Shift: Days Vary, 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM start time - 11:00 PM (depending on OT)
