Job Description:
The Shipping Clerk responsibilities include processing shipping documentation, verifying order and carrier details, and supporting daily distribution operations to ensure accurate and timely shipments. This role is responsible for reviewing schedules, confirming billing and load information, completing shipment records, and maintaining organized files and documentation. The Shipping Clerk works closely with the distribution and administrative teams, prepares necessary paperwork for supervisors, and supports safety and environmental compliance programs while ensuring reports and records remain up to date.

Shift:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process all required shipping documentation accurately and on time
- Review schedules to verify carrier, load, and billing information
- Complete shipment processing and update order statuses
- Scan and upload completed LTL and TL shipment paperwork
- Maintain and organize file room and shipping records
- Prepare and provide delivery documents for floor supervisors
- Ensure reports and records are current and properly maintained
- Support OSHA 18001 Safety System and ISO 14001 Environmental System compliance
- Assist with general administrative tasks within the Distribution team as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior clerical experience in distribution or transportation preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Basic knowledge of distribution and transportation processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and highly motivated
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred)
- Experience with warehouse management systems such as SAP (preferred)
- Understanding of workplace safety, environmental standards, and compliance procedures
