Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful deployment and go live experience of a contracted healow Insights Customer (i.e. a Health Plan/Payer). As the primary face of the company, the Project Manager is responsible to lead and drive the execution of contracted services for their assigned projects. This role manages projects all the way from initial service delivery (post contract signing) all the way to successful adoption and utilization of contracted services. The Project Manager’s performance will be measured based 3 key criteria’s: 1) Timely delivery (project management 101 skills) 2) Customer satisfaction (expectation management, risk mitigation and resolution) 3) Successful project closure (maximize services adoption and utilization).

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Primary point of contact for assigned Customer (External and Internal)
  • Work effectively across lines of business and across the organization including interactions with Cross Functional teams (e.g. Sales, Product Management, Implementation, DevOps, Development, Release Management, Accounting etc.).
  • Operate as implementation Project Manager/Owner to implement contracted services for all assigned accounts.
  • Create, manage and tactically execute, applicable project plans and milestones required to complete projects on time and successfully.
  • Discover, Design and Establish new processes and project plans to implement new services and technology solutions the business unit comes up with.
  • Ability to ask the right questions to the right stakeholders to better identify all moving parts of a project scope.
  • Ability to build project plans using industry standard tools like MS Project etc. and internal CRM tools like eManager and Terv; ensuring that full transparency and visibility of all the Project Milestone is maintained across all internal and external teams/stakeholders.
  • Ability to be proactive in identifying project RISKS and skilled enough to ask the right questions, involve the right people, at the right time to come up with successful risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain day-to-day communication with involved teams/stakeholders for purposes of, managing customer expectations, avoiding scope creeps, managing project slippage, issue mitigation, resolving customer escalations, and other activites necessary to assist in the facilitation of a successful win-win relation.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all services offered by healow Insights.
  • Analyze and maximize adoption and utilization of contracted services, identify sales opportunities and recommend other services that will help customer meet their business goals.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Customer Stake Holders through routine calls, periodic check ins and/or face to face meetings as and when needed, seeking ways to increase customer adoption and satisfaction.
  • Accounting liaison who will ensure necessary information is getting triggered/facilitated in a timely fashion for applicable accounting teams to meet their accurate book-keeping, seamless invoicing, ontime collection and accurate auditing goals.
  • Create and review (at least annually) necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Work Instructions (WI’s) for existing/new processes as applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years’ Project Management experience in Healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Technical skills and know-how of planning and deploying cloud-based technologies.
  • Understanding of clinical business processes in the clinic, physician practice, Hospital or post-acute setting.
  • Knowledge of eClinicalWorks Ambulatory EHR and Population Health products.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%

Other Requirements

  • Additional related certifications will be considered as a plus (e.g. PMP).
  • Must be able to provide references proving successful project management career
  • Experience working with health plans is a plus.
  • Sound analytics and problem solving skills required to identify, analyze and mitigate risk/issues.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and document findings, resolutions and outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized individual with the ability to set priorities and understand urgencies.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities / projects.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and tight time constraints.
  • A team player, who contributes to team effort by accomplishing common goals as needed.
