Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping to ensure surfaces are pristine and well-maintained.
• Handle janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies to uphold high standards of hygiene.
• Support custodial tasks related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Assist with facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain cleanliness logs and complete routine inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support residential painting or light maintenance tasks as needed to enhance the overall appearance of the facility.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a focus on thoroughness and efficiency.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and polishing to maintain high-quality surfaces.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and industrial cleaning practices for large-scale facilities.
• Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or upkeep activities.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing supplies and completing documentation.
• Experience in residential painting or light maintenance work is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.
