Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of all bank areas, including offices, lobbies, restrooms, and meeting rooms using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, floor buffing, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures to maintain high hygiene standards
- Operate cleaning equipment like floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial scrubbers efficiently and safely
- Manage chemical agent handling with strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent hazards or accidents
- Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of supplies, furniture, or equipment following safe lifting practices
- Maintain facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all custodial activities and participate in safety training sessions regularly
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with cleaning equipment including floor buffers and industrial cleaning tools
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards necessary for maintaining hygienic environments
- Experience in residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors while performing duties
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while following established safety guidelines
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning best practices
