What are the responsibilities and job description for the BCBA position at ECLC of NJ?
ECLC is an accredited, nonprofit, educating students ages 5β21 with severe learning and/or language disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome or multiple disabilities at two schools. A separate entity called Community Personnel Services (CPS) provides post-graduate transition services and job placements to any special-needs adult, while another offshoot, the P.R.I.D.E. program, offers vocational training, independent living skills and more.
- Full Time BCBA Needed
- Assist professional staff in identifying behavior problems and conduct Behavioral Support Plans to address student behavior problems
- Provide in room assistance with the implementation and maintenance of behavior plans
- Consult and follow up with staff and parents on behavioral interventions
- Provide staff and parental training on behavioral strategies
Qualifications:
- B.A. required. M.A. preferred from an institution approved by the State Department of Education
- B.C.B.A. Certified
