Position Overview:
- Leader in food production and distribution, IT Technician I to support its farming and packing operations during peak season.
- Onsite role provides hands‐on technical support across multiple ranch locations, ensuring smooth operation of field technology, production systems, and mobile applications used throughout the organization.
- This is an excellent opportunity for an early‐career IT professional who enjoys problem‐solving, working outdoors, and supporting fast‐paced production environments.
- Provide onsite troubleshooting for hardware, software, and mobile devices
- Perform break/fix tasks and equipment setup
- Support applications used on cell phones and tablets by field staff
- Assist with basic networking issues and connectivity troubleshooting
- Install and configure access points (Client) and printers as needed
- Respond promptly to issues as they arise across ranch locations
- Manage daily ticket volume (typically 3-5; may increase to 15-30 during peak periods)
- Collaborate with a 6‐person IT team and a 15‐person 24/7 Help Desk
- 1-2 years of IT support experience
- Strong understanding of PC hardware, mobile devices, and networking fundamentals
- Ability to work in fast‐paced production or packing environments (experience is a plus)
- Comfortable working outdoors and traveling between sites
- Strong communication and customer‐service skills
- Problem‐solver with a hands‐on, "don't walk away from the issue” mindset
- Professional attitude with respect for field operations and management
