Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Project Manager at Eckman Construction. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion. Daily responsibilities include coordinating project schedules, managing budgets, communicating with stakeholders, monitoring progress, ensuring quality standards, and resolving any issues that arise. The Project Manager will also manage logistics, oversee inspections, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support successful project execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects
- Knowledge of Expediting and working effectively as an Expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources
- Experience in Inspection to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Skills in Logistics Management to coordinate the flow of materials and transportation for projects
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Leadership and Mentoring skills
- Knowledge of cost projections & WIP reports
- Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships
- Familiarity with construction industry standards and best practices
- Familiarity with construction management software's such as Procore, Bluebeam, P6, Microsoft Project, etc.
- Knowledge with Preconstruction services, accounting, and risk management
- 5-10 years minimum experience working in the construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
