Commercial Litigation Associate

Eckert Seamans, a national, full-service AmLaw 200 firm, seeks a motivated Associate to join the Commercial Litigation team in our Princeton, New Jersey office. This position offers a competitive salary and exceptional experience working with our attorneys and clients on various litigation and business dispute resolution matters, including contracts, professional liability, premises liability, products liability, and construction.

The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of litigation, including conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, and preparing substantive motions in New Jersey & Pennsylvania state and federal courts. Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Four (4) to six (6) years of commercial litigation experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability and desire to manage a variety of active matters independently
• Court and deposition experience strongly preferred
• New Jersey and Pennsylvania bar admission required

In compliance with New Jersey Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000. We note the salary information as a general guideline only, as we will consider various factors to determine the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work skills and experience, and education.
