Eckard Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Acquisition Landman to help source, evaluate, and execute oil and gas acquisitions primarily across the Permian and Anadarko Basins. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with management and technical teams in a highly active acquisition environment, playing a meaningful role in the identification and execution of strategic growth opportunities.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Full-Time, In-Office)
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and pursue acquisition opportunities across targeted operating areas
- Draft, negotiate, and execute purchase and sale agreements and related acquisition documents
- Collaborate with management, engineering, geology, and land teams on acquisition strategy, valuation, and execution
- Identify and develop new acquisition areas and market opportunities
- Monitor market activity, industry trends, and competitive acquisition activity
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, acquisition groups, and industry contacts
- Negotiate directly with mineral, royalty, and leasehold owners
- Coordinate due diligence efforts and support transaction execution
- Assist with special projects and strategic acquisition initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of oil and gas acquisition experience required
- Direct acquisition experience in the Permian Basin and/or Anadarko Basin required
- Strong understanding of oil and gas transactions, title concepts, and acquisition processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
