What You’ll Do
- Clean models, offices, and all common area amenities, including but not limited to the club room, fitness room, business center, conference room, pet spa, etc.
- Ensure model tour route is free of debris.
- Regularly walk the property to maintain cleanliness, removing litter and debris from all common areas.
- Support the unit turn schedule with routine cleaning of vacant units.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, such as monitoring the parking deck for trash or assisting maintenance with touch-up painting in common areas.
- Report all property and liability incidents at the property as soon as possible to the Service Manager.
- Understand and apply all safety policies and procedures for the property.
- Maintain compliance with ADA, OSHA and other regulations affecting the maintenance of the property.
- Learn to operate necessary commercial cleaning equipment in a safe manner.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 months in commercial housekeeping and or general maintenance experience in property management maintenance.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with coworkers, guests, vendors, and contractors.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, Yardi, and other relevant applications.
- Will need to be on feet.
- Will need to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching above shoulders.
- Constantly indoors in all weather conditions that may make the environment uncomfortable (hot in summer, cold in winter).
- Occasional exposure to paint fumes, solvents adhesives, etc. Example – apartment during painting and/or immediately during or after turnover. Employee must wear Personal Protective Equipment (N-95 Mask), rubber gloves and eye protection, when necessary.
