The Director of Operations is a key executive leader responsible for driving operational excellence, shaping organizational culture, and ensuring that strategic priorities are executed with precision and alignment. As a trusted partner to the CEO, the Director of Operations provides strategic insight, leads transformative initiatives, and cultivates a collaborative, people-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Vision Alignment
- Partner with the CEO to shape and advance the agency’s strategic vision and long-term growth agenda; drive alignment across business units and translate big-picture priorities into actionable, measurable outcome. Lead agency culture by strengthening trust by exhibiting core values across all operations.
- Develop, manage, and evaluate annual strategic plans, department objectives, and KPI systems to ensure accountability and progress toward goals.
Operational Development
- Direct daily operations to ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality execution across all agency functions.
- Spearhead organization operational efforts to improve clarity, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance cross-department collaboration.
- Create and maintain comprehensive operational policies, procedures, and manuals to standardize processes and reinforce accountability.
- Partner with IT to evaluate and implement technology solutions that modernize workflows, strengthen data accuracy, and support remote workforce management.
- Review contracts, vendor relationships, and insurance strategies to mitigate operational risk and ensure compliance.
- Oversee facilities and operational logistics to maintain optimal work environments for both on-site and remote teams.
People Leadership, HR, & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop department managers through structured coaching and performance support.
- Champion a people-first culture centered on transparency, trust, empowerment, and shared success.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, and talent development initiatives to attract and retain top-tier talent.
- Manage and maintain comprehensive performance evaluation systems, including metrics-based reviews, developmental planning, and goal alignment.
- Maintain HR frameworks to reinforce accountability and collaboration.
Internal Communications & Team Engagement
- Lead weekly all-staff meetings to reinforce priorities, strengthen communication, and align teams with strategic goals.
- Design and deploy annual employee engagement surveys to gather insights, drive improvements, and inform leadership decision-making.
- Maintain consistent communication with staff and leadership to ensure clarity, cohesion, and timely exchange of information.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Organizational Support
- Partner with finance to support budgeting, deposit oversight, and financial reporting accuracy.
- Manage agency marketing initiatives including content direction and social media presence to expand reach, engagement, and visibility.
- Manage geographically dispersed teams to ensure alignment, support, and sustained engagement across remote locations.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- An active insurance license is preferred; however, candidates without one must be able to obtain licensure. Licensing assistance will be provided.
- 8–10 years of leadership experience in operations, HR, or organizational strategy.
- Experience leading multi-site or remote teams strongly preferred.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
