Position Summary
The Outside Player Services Golf Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests by assisting with golf operations outside the clubhouse. This role helps ensure a smooth, welcoming, and enjoyable golf experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Load and unload golf bags from vehicles and carts
- Clean, stage, and store golf carts; ensure carts are fully stocked and charged
- Set up practice areas (driving range, putting green) and collect range balls
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cart barn, bag storage, and practice facilities
- Provide basic information about course layout, pace of play, and club policies
- Monitor pace of play and communicate with golf staff as needed
- Assist with bag storage and retrieval
- Follow all club safety, service, and etiquette standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry golf bags (typically up to 40 lbs)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Golf knowledge is a plus, but not required (training provided)
Work Schedule
- Flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
- Part-time position / Rehire for 2027 Season
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Bending, lifting, and pushing golf carts and equipment
