Job Summary:
The Ground Maintenance Laborer is a reliable worker that has stamina for climate conditions, has good communication and organization skills, can solve problems, is coachable, has a positive attitude, and values teamwork. This position involves maintaining commercial properties, medical facilities, and government facilities to the highest standards of client satisfaction.
Job Duties:
Perform general maintenance duties including mowing and weed eating, sweeping, raking, hauling, snow removal, moving furniture or equipment, power washing, pest control, and planting of shrubs or trees.
Fuel and repair equipment as needed.
Keep all equipment in exceptional condition, cleaning and servicing as needed.
Operate maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Replenish supplies such as weed eater line, trash bags, etc.
Other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.
Ability to stoop, bend, pull, and safely lift up to 75 lbs. regularly.
Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to operate hand and power tools.
Prior ground maintenance experience preferred, especially in commercial settings.
Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s license and a clear background check.
Must pass a drug screen test.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
This position is part-time temporary.
