Our Tag & Title Specialist will play an important role in the processing of car deals, verify costs for the accounting department, including the costs of reconditioning and equipment add-ons, and handle the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles. What You’ll Do
- Process all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
- Verify that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
- Check for accuracy in the application and ensure that all information is complete.
- Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
- Pull reports from our TRAC system
- Process rejections
- Automotive Dealership Title Clerk Experience- Preferred
- Knowledge of DMV Software / CDK
- Casual dress
- Strong, creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to take initiative and think critically to identify improvement opportunities
- Ability to take ownership of the details – large and small
- Decision making that demonstrates good judgment and potential leadership development
- Clean motor vehicle record and criminal background record
