Title: Sales Representative
Job Description
Looking for a high-energy beer enthusiast to grow an existing sales territory for an award-winning regional brewery. In this dual-function sales/delivery role, the Sales Representative’s primary function is to maintain existing account relationships to ensure repeat business and sell and deliver product. In addition, they will be tasked with expanding into additional retail accounts, such as markets and convenience stores as well as bars and restaurants and will be accountable for incremental growth YOY. The Sales Representative will also be required to attend some evening and weekend sales/marketing events as needed. Compensation to include incentive based on sales volumes.
Responsibilities
- Sell and upsell product to both new and existing on and off-premise accounts
- Prospect and cold-call new potential accounts within assigned territory
- Communicate with customers in-person and via phone/email
- Deliver presold product to accounts
- Collect checks and invoices for delivered product
- Merchandise retail accounts and ensure product is properly rotated
- Drive employer-provided vehicle in a safe manner
- Load/unload product from vehicle
- Assist with day-of event operations
- Some evenings/weekends required
- Accountable to the Head of Sales and Head of Operations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess active Class 12 MAST permit or obtain within 60 days of initial hire
- Must possess valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, push, pull
- Must be able to move/lift up to 175 lbs. and repeatedly lift 20-50 lbs. without assistance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred
- 1 years alcoholic beverage wholesale or B2B route sales
- Knowledge of beer styles and processes
Pay: $20.00 per hour
