This role works closely with engineers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for a range of audiences. This role will report to the VP, Product.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Content Writer to develop clear, accurate, and engaging documentation for our radar systems, spanning both hardware and software. This role works closely with engineers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for a range of audiences. This role will report to the VP, Product.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop high-quality documentation, including user guides, installation manuals, system integration guides, online help content, and training materials for radar hardware and software.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and validate technical content; engage directly with products to gain hands-on understanding of documentation needs.
- Design and develop customer training materials in both written and video formats, including scripts and supporting content.
- Coordinate with external vendors for video production based on training materials and user documentation.
- Maintain and continuously improve existing documentation to reflect product updates, process changes, and stakeholder feedback.
- Ensure all content adheres to company standards for clarity, structure, style, and consistency.
- Manage documentation translation efforts in partnership with external language service providers.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical writing or technical content development.
- Proven ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with HTML, Markdown, or other AI and developer documentation tools.
- Experience developing scalable documentation frameworks and structured content systems.
- Familiarity with creating or managing video-based training content, including scripting and production coordination.
- Experience documenting complex systems, particularly in defense, aerospace, or government-related industries.
