Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Diagnostic Ultrasound Tech to perform high-quality ultrasound exams in an outpatient setting. You’ll be part of a growing, friendly team focused on excellent patient care and efficient workflows — without the pressure of hospitals or call shifts. Enjoy the joy of working independently in an outpatient setting. Perfect opportunity for someone looking to earn a little more outside of a full-time or part-time job. We are also seeking a PRN Sonographer to cover vacations and sick days for both our Pleasant Grove location and Salt Lake location.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, schedule exams, greet patients upon arrival and take payment
- Perform general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular ultrasound examinations
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound exams
- Maintain accurate documentation and image labeling
- Ensure patient comfort and communicate clearly throughout procedures
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Work independently in an outpatient setting
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- ARDMS Certification (required) in at least one of the following: OB/GYN, Abdomen, or Vascular (RVT)
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical training are welcome to apply
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
