Front Desk Agent

We are a family owned and operated small business. We’re looking to hire someone to help us with our front desk responsibilities here at the inn.

This role will be one part customer-facing and one part computer-facing. We’re looking for someone who:

- Has great interpersonal communication skills and loves helping people
- Is comfortable navigating technology with a level of efficiency
- Is a fan of tourism and hospitality
- Who will go above and beyond to surprise and delight our guests
- Understands the power of empathy in a professional context
- Is excited and passionate about the inn and its longstanding history and presence in this community!

Your daily expectations will be varied. Your duties could include:
- Answering phones
- Making reservations
- Greeting guests as they check out
- Listening and responding to any concerns guests raise during their stay, and escalating to management when appropriate
- Ensuring each room meets standards of cleanliness and order before check-in
- Restocking/tidying common areas
- Providing local recommendations to guests
- We are a multi-level inn with no elevator, so must be able to go up and down steps frequently to tend to different guest needs

We're looking for a part-time employee to work up to 4 days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays.
