Summary of essential job functions
- Mentoring program for management.
- Review recoveries and advise on equipment schedule
- Maintain Safety Amp Training with all departments.
- Oversee activities directly related to production including quality and food safety measures.
- Manage personnel and oversee labor, determine staffing needs.
- Direct and coordinate production schedule to meet company’s productivity requirements.
- Establish, implement and improve departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures.
- Communication with department heads regarding staff, safety, food quality/safety and inventory needs.
Minimum requirements
- Must have experience in a food production environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be reliable and willing to work flexible hours as job demands.
- Previous experience in a management/leadership role.
Abilities required
- Must be physically able to walk throughout all areas of the plant and climb ladders and step stools as required.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- To lift 30 - 40 pounds.
- To delegate and prioritize responsibilities.
- To visually inspect products and work performance.
- Ability to think critically and analyze information and situations in order to react and identify solutions.
