This role reports directly to the 3rd Shift Molding Production Supervisor. We’re looking for someone with strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, excellent work ethic, and high attention to detail. This position includes both independent and team-focused tasks, and requires consistent, reliable attendance. As part of our Injection Molding team, you’ll play a key role in daily production support and have the opportunity to grow your skills within the plastics manufacturing industry.

- Maintain and organize all plastic resin raw materials within the Molding Department
- Set up Motan material handling equipment to deliver the correct resin for each production run
- Perform preventative maintenance on material handling systems (filters, hoses, leak checks, etc.)
- Monitor hopper levels on molding machines to ensure uninterrupted production
- Uphold 5S standards with continuous cleaning and proper housekeeping
- Provide break coverage for machine operators as needed
- Change plastic color on molding machines using trained purging/restart procedures
- Assist Process Technicians with mold changes (staging molds, end-of-arm tooling, water lines, crane setup, etc.)
- Process scrap plastic parts/runners through reclaim/recycling equipment
- Support additional tasks within the manufacturing operation as assigned
- General experience in injection molding required
- Material handling experience in molding preferred
- Basic knowledge of plastic resin types is a plus
- Experience with large central conveying/blending systems is a bonus
- Strong basic math skills and ability to calculate blend ratios
- Sit-down forklift experience preferred (training/certification available at ECHO)
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work in a bilingual (English/Spanish) environment; bilingual skills are a plus
