ECHO is seeking an Export Coordinator to support Distribution operations by coordinating and processing international customer orders from order release through shipment. This role works closely with Picking, Shipping, Transportation, Inventory Planning, and other departments to ensure export orders are accurately processed, documented, consolidated, and shipped in accordance with customer, carrier, company, and country-specific requirements.

- Release export customer orders from the XA system.
- Build export loads in SCE for picking and shipment.
- Consolidate and verify picked export loads to ensure requested inventory has been released, picked, and accurately prepared for shipment.
- Communicate additional order requirements, discrepancies, and other issues to the appropriate departments.
- Track shipment discrepancies and follow up with the appropriate departments through resolution.
- Coordinate with Picking, Shipping, Transportation, Inventory Planning, and other applicable functions.
- Verify outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage.
- Follow established export shipping procedures and documented country-specific requirements.
- Repack, weigh, wrap, and label orders when required.
- Verify picked LPNs are properly consolidated and ensure shipment documentation accurately reflects the physical shipment.
- Coordinate carrier pickup dates and times.
- Process completed loads for shipment in SCE.
- Compare and adjust pallet, carton, and loose quantities on the Bill of Lading (BOL) after shipment.
- Make necessary adjustments in XA to accurately reflect the physical shipment.
- Recount shipments when necessary and obtain required supervisor approval.
- Audit export documentation and packing lists for accuracy.
- Respond to questions and provide shipment information to Transportation.
- Maintain detailed files and records for export shipments.
- Create and retain copies of Bills of Lading and other required documentation.
- Take photographs of loaded containers and maintain appropriate electronic files.
- Provide original shipping documents to Transportation.
- Move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift or other powered industrial truck as required.
- Assist with moving, stacking, and staging products and materials, including operation of a forklift or other powered industrial truck when trained, authorized, and required.
- Inspect assigned equipment and perform minor maintenance as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, neat, safe, and orderly work area.
- Follow company safety, quality, security, and productivity standards.
- Comply with OSHA and other applicable safety requirements.
- Report quality, shipment, inventory, or operational issues to management.
- Perform other duties and assignments as needed to support Distribution operations.
- Experience with XA and SCE systems.
- Experience supporting export or international shipments.
- Experience preparing or reviewing Bills of Lading, packing lists, and shipping documentation.
- Forklift/powered industrial truck experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments.
- Ability to accurately review orders, shipment information, and documentation.
- Ability to enter and maintain shipment information using computer systems.
- Ability to follow established export, shipping, safety, and quality procedures.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and communicate issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift or other powered industrial equipment as required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a warehouse/distribution environment
- High School diploma or GED
- 2–3 years of warehouse, distribution, shipping, or related experience preferred.
- Experience supporting export shipments or international shipping processes preferred.
- Full-time position within the Distribution department.
- Work is performed primarily in a warehouse/distribution environment.
- Regular interaction with Picking, Shipping, Transportation, Inventory Planning, and other operational departments.
- Must follow all company safety, security, quality, and productivity procedures.
- Standing and walking approximately 80% of the workday.
- Bending and lifting approximately 40% of the workday.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasionally basis.
- Ability to move, stack, and stage products and materials.
- Ability to operate a forklift or other powered industrial truck as required.
- Ability to use a computer and enter shipment/order information.
