Job Summary
Echo Hills assisted Living is now seeking applications for the position of Maintenance Director. This person will be responsible for the complete oversight of assisted living and memory care community. The ability to complete day to day maintenance tasks while also coordinating with outside contractors is a large part of the position. This take charge leader works efficiently and independently on many projects at once. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage facilities maintenance teams, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and high/low voltage equipment.
- Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems, electrical circuits, schematics, and industrial machinery using multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for team members.
- Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through completion while adhering to project management best practices.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, safety inspections, and equipment upgrades to ensure operational transparency and accountability.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and engineering troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using schematics, technical manuals, CMMS software, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Deep understanding of safety regulations set forth by OSHA or similar agencies; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience managing facilities maintenance budgets while optimizing resources for maximum efficiency.
