Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens in residential and commercial settings
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment, outdoor work, and moving supplies safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance
- Manage laundry duties for linens or fabrics as required by clients’ needs
- Use janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs, provide updates, and address any concerns promptly
- MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CLEANING SUPPLIES, IE: CHEMICALS, VACUUM, MOP
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or housekeeping management; outdoor work experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation practices is a plus
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client sites
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including lifting heavy objects and performing outdoor work when necessary
