Background

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, Supported Employment, manage production within various host companies, community job site while training, employing, and supervising adults with disabilities. Managing ECHO's contract with the host companies. Provide coverage for ECHO drivers or bus aides as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Implement individual support plans including data collecting, analyzing, and reporting.
  • Provide supervision to program participants to ensure health and safety as dictated by their individual service plans and/or per the direction of ECHO management.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation including notes in in EHR and participant payroll system. Notes and time entry must be completed the day of services.
  • Schedule and transport program participants to and from work sites, using ECHO vehicles.
  • Relate information about significant program participant activity to Program Coordinator and/or Program Manager, as appropriate.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement meaningful community-based activities that incorporate program participant preferences and choices, support the community, and maximize the independence and esteem of individuals served while enhancing the understanding and awareness of others in the community to better include the people we service.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement an activity that supports cultural diversity on a quarterly basis to improve understanding of individuals' similarities and differences of different people and communities around the world.
  • Maintain necessary production and payroll records.
  • Manage program participant hours for greatest productivity and coverage.
  • Assure program participant integration into the host company's work force.
  • Plan for integrated "down time" activities, such as off-site community outreach activities, ensuring that program participant preferences and choices are encouraged and respected.
  • In the event of a production emergency, complete production without program participant assistance within timelines mandated.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies and request from ECHO and/or host company.
  • Perform routine maintenance and make minor repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Complete mandatory training to meet regulatory and agency requirements.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality.
  • Assist with LTESS/EES funded participants to include writing annual plans, case management, etc.
  • Coordinate the participant PAFs and Leave Request forms with Finance Department
  • May be required to drive-must be available from 630am to 630pm Monday through Friday to provide coverage for drivers, as needed:
  • Pick up program participants at their homes/specified locations, take them to their worksite, ECHO and/or intermediate transportation rendezvous locations and return them to the specified location.
  • Assist persons with disabilities on and off the vehicle as necessary to assure the riders safety.
  • Adjust/secure seatbelts and wheelchair tie down devices for a stable and safe ride.
  • Position vehicle and operate wheelchair lift in an appropriate and safe manner.
  • Report absent riders daily.
  • Using required reporting forms, complete daily vehicle control information forms including, but not limited to, rider attendance, vehicle safety checks, fuel, or memos for vehicle repair.
  • Report program participant incidents, accidents, seizures, illnesses, and behavior issues to proper authority in a timely manner.
  • Report any personal traffic violations or collisions (whether on or off the job).
  • Refrain from the use of any intoxicating drug.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Associate degree in Social Services, Human Services, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum one year's experience in vocational and/or training of persons with disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record meeting insurance requirements.
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred.
