RN Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) position at ECHN offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and is open to new graduates who will participate in a one-year nursing program upon passing the NCLEX.
Nurses will provide direct and indirect patient care, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and maintain clinical competency while working at Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital.

Position Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
- Coordinate patient care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to the patient population served.
- Promote the profession of nursing and professional practice through collegial support and interactions.
Education/Certification:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Current licensure in the state of Connecticut.
- Maintain clinical competency required for area of assignment including but not limited to BLS.
Experience:
- Minimum one year of nursing experience required.
Competencies:
- Able to communicate effectively in English - both verbally and in writing.
- Possesses basic computer skills.
- Must be able to work at both Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital.
