What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding Product Marketer position at Echelon AI?
Echelon AI builds autonomous AI agents that implement and modernize enterprise ServiceNow configurations, from CMDB alignment to catalog maintenance, greenfield deployment to replatforming.
We're a seed-stage company backed by Bain Capital Ventures, working with enterprise customers including United Healthcare/Optum, ASICS, Fox, HubSpot, and Alera Group. We're building the AI-native future of ServiceNow delivery — with more enterprise platforms on the roadmap!
This is our founding product marketing hire — a rare chance to define what product marketing means at Echelon from the ground up. You won't be stepping into an existing playbook; you'll be writing it. You'll own how we tell our product story across every channel, set the standard for our product messaging, and shape the function as the company scales.
- Blog content
- Website content, with a particular focus on product-specific pages
- Product-related LinkedIn content, and putting that content to work across channels
- Product-focused ad campaigns
- Product-focused content campaigns (webinars, livestreams, etc.)
- Technical workshops at in-person events (Knowledge, Echelon On The Road, etc.)
- Strong copywriting skills — you can take a technical product and make it land
- Design skills are a big plus (Canva or Figma ideal, but not required)
- Experience working in AI-native workflows, particularly with Claude
- Experience at a high-growth company (required)
- Ideally, experience marketing a highly technical product to a large number of varyingly technical personas
- A product marketing background is ideal but not required. What matters most is that you've operated in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, can translate technical complexity into compelling messaging, and are excited to build a function rather than inherit one.
