About Medical School Advisory Group (MSAG)

MSAG has supported medical schools through continuous quality improvement efforts, including accreditation, for more than 20 years. MSAG helps medical schools navigate the complexity of the undergraduate medical education (UME) accreditation process, including accreditation planning, response to LCME concerns, continuous improvement planning, and leadership development. Project teams composed of educators, physicians, administrators, and experts in continuous quality improvement bring deep experience in higher education and the health professions. MSAG joined ECG in October 2024, creating a combined team positioned to address issues or opportunities across all aspects of medical education, research, and/or patient care.

Since our founding in 1973, ECG has maintained a dedicated practice of professionals devoted exclusively to working in the subsector of academic healthcare. Experts within our Academic Healthcare Division subspecialize in each mission, including research, education, and the clinical enterprise.
