Day Shift between the hours of 6:30-10:30 am and 2:30-6:30 pm or 3-7 pm (schools choice)

CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification (Preferred)
- Plan and implement daily activities: Develop and oversee age-appropriate recreational, creative arts, and academic activities. Homework buddy up programs and lesson planning of each day and for up to 36 children per staff member.
- Schedule staff: Manage staff schedules and assignments to ensure proper child-to-staff ratios are maintained at all times.
- Operational oversight: Coordinate the daily logistics of the program, such as managing the use of facilities and equipment.
- Budgeting: Handle fees, deposits, and maintain financial records for the program.
- Recruit and train staff: Assist with the hiring process and provide ongoing training, support, and evaluation for program aides.
- Provide guidance and coaching: Act as a mentor and role model for staff, guiding them in behavior management and child guidance principles.
- Lead staff meetings: Hold regular meetings to review program goals, address issues, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure student safety: Oversee the constant supervision of children during indoor and outdoor activities to guarantee their safety and well-being.
- Handle emergencies: Respond to emergencies and administer basic first aid as needed.
- Enforce policies: Implement and enforce program rules and behavior management policies consistently and fairly.
- Serve as a point of contact: Act as the main liaison for parents, communicating regularly regarding their child's progress or any daily occurrences.
- Maintain records: Keep accurate records of attendance, payments, and emergency contact information.
- Promote the program: Engage with the community and school administration to effectively promote the program.
Required qualifications
- Experience working in a childcare or similar program, preferably in a supervisory role.
- 18 college credits, associates, bachelors or masters degree in elementary or early childhood education, human services, social work, youth or family studies or child development
