We are seeking a People & Culture Generalist to support the day-to-day execution of People & Culture programs and processes by providing responsive, accurate, and compliant HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for owning the organization's full-cycle recruitment process, administering employee benefits and established HR programs and processes, supporting annual People & Culture initiatives, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and procedures. Serving as a trusted operational partner, the Generalist maintains confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance while supporting employees, leaders, and the broader People & Culture team. This role also embodies our People & Culture philosophy of partnering with leaders to build capability and enable sound people decisions. Rather than functioning as a transactional service provider, the Generalist supports leaders through coaching, guidance, and expertise while reinforcing leader ownership and accountability for their teams.
This hybrid position requires onsite presence at our corporate office located in Salem, NH (mandatory Monday, Wednesday, Thursday in office).

- Manage the organization's full-cycle recruitment process including partnering with hiring managers, posting positions, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, preparing offers, facilitating pre-employment activities, and supporting onboarding.
- Coordinate leave of absence administration, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, Open Enrollment, employee communications, benefit reconciliations, vendor coordination, and responding to routine employee benefit inquiries while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Serve as the primary administrator for SAP HR, managing employee and organizational data, processing HR transactions, and maintaining data accuracy.
- Support annual People & Culture processes, including performance management, merit planning, engagement surveys, objective setting, and other recurring HR initiatives.
- Assist with HR compliance activities, audits, document management, record retention, and required employment reporting.
- Respond to routine employee and manager inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, HR programs, and employment processes, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
- Support with preparation or execution of annual HR processes related to performance, engagement, objectives or merit procedures.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the People & Culture team and assist with special projects as business needs require.
- Support the administration of employee benefit programs, including new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, open enrollment, employee communications, benefit reconciliations, vendor coordination, and responding to routine employee benefit inquiries while compliance and applicable policies and regulations.
- Provide support across People & Culture functions as needed, leveraging individual expertise to meet evolving team and organizational priorities.

- Associate’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field – or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 3 years of experience in an HR generalist role with 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- 3 years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Maintains discretion when handling confidential information.
- Communicates professionally and effectively with employees and leaders at all organizational levels.
- Prioritizes work effectively while managing multiple competing deadlines.
- Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experiences using HRIS and ATS systems, such as Dayforce, SAP, and Taleo.
- Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at a proficient level.
- There is no travel anticipated for this role.
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000***
