The NetSuite Administrator serves as the primary functional owner of the organization’s NetSuite ERP platform, ensuring the system reliably supports core business operations including finance, quote-to-cash, procurement, inventory, sales, and reporting.
This role focuses on functional configuration, system administration, business process alignment, data integrity, and user enablement within NetSuite. While technical awareness of NetSuite capabilities is required, this role does not perform custom SuiteScript development or advanced integrations, which are handled by NetSuite partners or specialized technical resources.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Business Process Support:
- Partner with department leaders to understand and optimize NetSuite Supported Workflows.
- Translate business requirements into NetSuite functional configurations and process recommendations.
- Support standardized NetSuite processes across departments while balancing operational flexibility.
- Document approved NetSuite workflows, configurations, and system usage standards.
- Provide day-to-day functional NetSuite support to users.
- Manage user onboarding/offboarding, permissions, and profiles.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business users and the ERP vendor or internal IT.
- Communicate system updates, changes, and best practices.
- Monitor and maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness within NetSuite (customers, vendors, items, chart of accounts, transactions).
- Identify root causes of data issues related to process design, permissions, or configuration.
- Support reporting accuracy by ensuring NetSuite data structures align with business reporting needs.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards through roles, validation rules, and process controls.
- Support readoption process of current ERP vendor to NetSuite
- Develop NetSuite training guidelines and job aides.
- Collaborate with leaders to develop Standard Operation procedures
- Ensure adoption of process changes and new ERP features.
- Coordinate testing for upgrades, patches, and new modules.
- Serve as the functional liaison between business teams, IT, NetSuite partners, and internal leadership.
- Support company initiatives that require NetSuite alignment (e.g., acquisitions, new revenue streams, process standardization).
- Strong understanding of business processes such as finance, operations, supply chain, sales, and service workflows.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical user groups.
- Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to ongoing changes.
- Customer-service mindset and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, business management or a related field.
- Experience coordinating with NetSuite partners or consultants.
- 3 years working with ERP systems in a functional or administrative capacity within last 5 years.
- Experience with ticketing or support systems.
- NetSuite Administrator or related NetSuite certifications.
- Experience mapping workflows or supporting business transformation initiatives.
