Senior Compliance & Conflicts Attorney | Global Law Firm | Nashville
📍 Location: Nashville (hybrid, 3 days per week in office)
A leading international law firm is seeking a commercially minded attorney to join its highly regarded Compliance & Risk team. This is a unique opportunity to move into a strategic, highly visible role at the intersection of risk, compliance, conflicts, client onboarding, and legal operations.

The Role
You'll play a key role in supporting the firm's risk and business intake functions, including:
- Advising on conflicts of interest and compliance matters
- Supporting lateral partner and client onboarding processes
- Reviewing and negotiating engagement terms and client agreements
- Advising on Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs)
- Assessing and resolving non-standard contractual and risk issues
- Working closely with stakeholders across legal, risk, compliance, business intake, and firm leadership
About You
We are interested in speaking with lawyers who bring:
- Approximately 5 years' legal experience (minimum 3 PQE)
- Experience in conflicts, compliance, risk, ethics, professional responsibility, legal operations, or related areas
- Alternatively, strong associates from large law firms with backgrounds in:
- Litigation
- Commercial contracts
- General commercial advisory work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A practical, solutions-focused and commercial approach
