Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Greet, room, and triage patients
- Record vital signs and conduct medication reconciliation
- Assist providers before, during, and after patient visits and procedures
- Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and procedure rooms
- Document patient information in the EMR (eClinicalWorks)
- Facilitate communication with outside offices (calls/faxes) for records, referrals, imaging, etc.
- Initiate and manage prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- Prepare charts and assist with overall clinical flow
- Support front desk and administrative tasks as needed
- Assist in operating and positioning the C-arm (X-ray fluoroscopy) during procedures
- Handle sensitive patient concerns with discretion, professionalism, and empathy
- Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team and/or providers
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of experience as a medical assistant required
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and respectful approach to patient care
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and multitask efficiently
- Proficient with computers and EMR systems (eClinicalWorks a plus)
- Quick decision-making skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset
